Florida Prepaid College Plan Deadline Is Nearing

MIAMI (CBSMiami) — If you’re one of the thousands of parents who want to buy a Florida Prepaid College plan before the prices go up again, you only have until Thursday, January 31st, to enroll and lock in this year’s prices.
The program doesn’t open again until October when next year’s plans are released.

Florida families an opportunity to safely save for their childʼs college education.”
A prepaid college savings plan can be purchased for children and grandchildren as soon as they are born and up until the 11th grade.
Four flexible plan options are available to lock in tuition and most fees at Floridaʼs 11 state universities and 28 colleges (formerly known as community colleges).

Partnering with Al Jazeera’s sport channel beIN Sport, receiver manufacturer Aston is to bring a range of three packages, incorporating prepaid access, to both the beIN Sport 1 and beIN Sport 2 channels.
Each package comprises a Fransat-approved HD/3D satellite receiver with a four-month prepaid access pass to the two premium channels.
The launch of the range coincides with return-to-play for France’s premier league season on 11 January and the arrival of six new terrestrial HD channels, available from 12 December 2012 as part of Fransat’s offering (Eutelsat 5 West A satellite).
This offer of prepaid, subscription-free access bundled with a range of satellite receivers is the first of its kind on the French pay-TV market.
